Bwiko farm visit

Bwiko is a 45 minute drive from Same Town, where farmers are using irrigation to grow their crops.  You can be shown around and see how different types of crops are grown:  corn, beans, sugar cane (do taste it:  it's like a sweet!), rice and several types of fruit depending on the season.  See how people are trying to make the most our of agricultural life in difficult circumstances and strive to move from traditional to modern farming.  Information on a visit to the farm and a guide can be obtained from motel staff or at the tourist Information Center.
